Glow-worm's range of controls are specifically designed to work with Glow-worm appliances creating highly efficient heating systems and further home comfort. The Climastat, Climapro and Climapro RF are fully compatible for use with the Flexicom, Ultracom and Ultrapower sxi Ranges. (refer to the controls selector for required accessories).

Intelligent Room Control Explained
Intelligent room control is a simple method of controlling the flow temperature of water to the central heating system based on the temperature measured in the room. As the temperature in the room approaches the desired set point, the Climastat or Climapro begins to lower the flow temperature of water supplied to the central heating system (radiators). A lower flow temperature means that the boiler operates more efficiently in, or closer to the condensing mode. Energy costs are then reduced and a more stable and comfortable room temperature is achieved.

Weather Compensation Explained
Weather compensation measures the temperature outside the property and adjusts the flow temperature to the radiators accordingly. The colder the outdoor temperature, the hotter the flow temperature, and conversely the warmer the outdoor temperature the cooler the flow temperature will be. The effect is that the flow temperature adjusts the output of the radiators to meet the actual heat demand of the property. The lower flow temperature also ensures that the boiler operates more efficiently.

Note: When Glow-worm controls Climastat & Climapro/RF are used for as room (load) or weather compensators, an additional 2% can be added to the boiler SEDBUK value as used in the Code for sustainable homes.

	Climapro Climapro is a programmable room thermostat which has two channels enabling your customer to set their hot water and central heating to come on either together or at totally different times of the day, 7 days a week. •  Intelligent programmable room thermostat for time and     temperature control of central heating and domestic hot water •  Provides room and weather compensation •  Increased home comfort and better energy efficiences •  Configured for either modulating or conventional on/off operation •  Enables setting of the combi boiler domestic hot water temperature •  Seven day scheduling of both heating and hot water (combi preheat or     tank loading) •  Simple and discreet low voltage two wire connection •  Polarity not important, easy to wire •  Easy to use
	Climapro RF Like the Climapro, the Climapro RF is a programmable room thermostat. The only difference being the Climapro RF talks to the boiler using radio frequency (RF) technology. This means there is no need to take up any flooring, thread wires around the room or drill through walls. The Climapro RF is simply hung on a wall and a small receiver is wired to the boiler - neat, tidy and simple to install. •  Wireless intelligent programmable room thermostat for time and     temperature control of central heating and domestic hot water •  Identical functionality to Climapro without the need for additional wiring •  Wireless with a receiver box that is connected to the boiler locally
	Outdoor Sensor Also available as an optional accessory is the outdoor sensor which adds a further level of intelligence to the system (available with the Ultracom cxi & Ultrapower sxi). Weather Compensation allows the outdoor temperature to be communicated back to the system, adjusting the flow temperature to the radiators to meet demands.
	Smart Wiring Centre This intelligent functionality is automatically enabled in the Ultracom cxi and cx and can be achieved on the Ultracom hxi and sxi with Glow-worm controls by installing a Smart Wiring Centre available from Glow-worm as an accessory.
